Return & Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains your rights and our requirements regarding returns, cancellations, and refunds in accordance with UK and EU consumer law.

1. Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)

If you are a customer in the United Kingdom or European Union, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods. To cancel, you must contact us in writing at support@footiearchives.com within this 14-day period.
Once you notify us of your cancellation, you then have 14 days to return the product.

 

2. Conditions for Change-of-Mind Returns

To ensure fairness and protect product integrity, all returned items must meet the following conditions:

  1. Returned in original condition
  2. Unused, unwashed and unworn
  3. In original packaging, including all labels, tags and accessories
  4. Free from marks, odours, dirt, stains, or signs of wear or use

If items are returned in a condition that goes beyond what is necessary to inspect them (e.g., worn, damaged, used), we reserve the right to:

Make a reasonable deduction from the refund to reflect any loss in value, OR

Reject the return entirely.

(These actions are fully permitted under UK and EU consumer law when value has been diminished by customer handling.)

Please handle all products carefully to avoid any deduction.

3. Return Shipping Costs

Unless the item is faulty or incorrectly supplied:

The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.

We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service. We are not responsible for lost or undelivered return parcels.

If the product is faulty, damaged, or misdescribed, we will cover return shipping costs.

4. Refunds

Refunds are issued within 14 days of receiving the returned item (or receiving evidence that the item has been shipped back, whichever occurs first).

Refunds will be made to the original payment method used at checkout.

5. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us immediately at support@footiearchives.com with your order number and photographs of the issue.

You are legally entitled to:

  1.  A repair,
  2. A replacement, or
  3. A full refund.

Return shipping for faulty or incorrect goods will be covered by us.

6. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene, safety, or customisation reasons, change-of-mind returns are NOT accepted for the following:

  1. Personalised or custom-made items
  2. Perishable goods
  3. Sealed hygiene-sensitive items (e.g., cosmetics, underwear, swimwear, grooming items) once opened
  4. Digital products once access or download has begun

These items may still be returned if faulty.

7. Returns Process

To arrange a return, you must:

  1. Email us at support@footiearchives.com with your order number and reason for return.
  2. Wait for return approval from our customer service team.
  3. Once approved, we will provide you with the official return address.
  4. Returns will not be accepted unless the address is provided through our support team. Please do not return the parcel to our officer address. 
  5. Send the item back using a trackable postal service (unless faulty).
  6. Keep your proof of postage until your refund is processed.

8. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the EU Consumer Rights Directive. This policy is designed to comply with and support those legal protections.
